Umesh Bhatt, is the owner and director of all projects and services produced by 8thCross Photography.
Umesh was born in Bangalore, India and lives in New Jersey, USA. Ever since his childhood days, he has had an interest in Photography, possibly because of his father, a professional photographer himself.
Umesh has a Diploma in Photography from New York Institute of Photography and is an active member of PPA and NAPP organizations. He is also an active member and webmaster for NJPhoto forum and Bangalore Photography Club. He has exhibited his fine art work in a number of exhibitions in NJ and his work has won several awards.
For the past several years now, he has been apprenticing under a New Jersey based Artist and Photographer Nancy Ori (an Ansel Adams Protige’ & she taught at his workshops). Umesh has taught several workshops at New Jersey Media Center on Color Management, Advanced Photography techniques such as High Dynamic Range Imaging Focus Stacking, Macros, Panaromas, Fine Art Printing, Framing and Presenting your work and Advanced Post-processing techniques. Umesh has had several exhibitions in the New Jersey area at various commercial galleries.
His latest work can be seen at the Les Malamut gallery in Union, NJ until 30 December 2010.
